Adipurush is directed by Om Raut of Tanhaji fame and it’s a retelling of the Hindu epic Ramayana. Touted to be the costliest Indian movie ever with a budget of 500 crores, Adipurush has Prabhas as Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon as Sita, and Saif Ali Khan as the demon king Raavan. It’s the first Indian movie to use the technology of performance capture that was used in Hollywood movies like Avatar and Avengers movies. We have to wait till next year to witness this spectacle on the big screen.

With a budget of 300 crores, a lot is riding on Ayan Mukerjee directed fantasy drama movie Bramhastra. The movie was in making for the last 7 years and it’s finally going to release on 9 September 2022. The movie features Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead with Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy in supporting roles. According to the makers of the movie, the movie is based on the ancient roots of our country and promises to deliver a visual extravaganza never witnessed before in Bollywood.

Produced by Aamir Khan and directed by Advait Chandan of Secret Superstar fame, Laal Singh Chadda is the official remake of the 1994 Hollywood classic Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks. The original is considered a classic movie and it won many Academy Awards including Best Actor and Best Movie. So when its Hindi remake was announced, many became apprehensive about it and the trailer of the movie was not good enough to attract the audiences. The act of Aamir Khan looked like a mix of his Dhoom 3 and PK characters but we can’t be sure till its release to see how it is actually.

Tiger 3 is the third movie in the Tiger movie series after Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hain. The earlier Tiger movies were big hits with Tiger Zinda Hain collecting more than 300 crores at the box office. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are reprising their roles from the earlier Tiger movies and Emran Hashmi is the new addition to the movie who is the main antagonist in the movie. Shahrukh Khan is expected to have a cameo in the movie as his character from the movie Pathan as with Tiger 3 Yashraj is trying to create a spy universe with characters from Pathan, Tiger series, and War.

Touted as the big comeback movie of Shahrukh Khan, Pathaan is directed by Siddharth Anand of War fame. The movie also features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham and it is releasing next year January. Salman Khan is expected to have a cameo in the movie as Tiger as both movies are part of Yashraj’s spy universe movies. Shahrukh Khan is coming back on screen after 5 long years and we have to wait till next year to see how it turns out.

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan

The movie Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was announced recently by Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff through a video. The movie is an action drama and directed by Ali Abbas Jafar and don’t get confused by the title of the movie as it has nothing to do with the 90s movie of the same name. It’s releasing next year Christmas and after the recent failures of both Akshay and Tiger’s movies, a lot depends on the performance of this movie at the box office.
