| Synopsis: | Jayeshbhai Jordaar is a Gujarat-set social comedy. The titular Jordaar (Ranveer Singh) is an ordinary man who strongly believes in equal rights for men and women. Singh is said to have gone a dramatic physical change — he lost a lot of weight —to ace the character of a regular Gujarati man. “Jayeshbhai is an unlikely hero, an ordinary man, who ends up doing something extraordinary when he’s hurled into a threatening situation. Jayeshbhai is sensitive and compassionate. He believes in equal rights between men and women in a society that is deeply rooted in patriarchal ideals, practices, and doctrines.
