Seven Dog Breeds which Can be Great Companions to us

Dogs are very good companions for we human beings and it’s a fact that a domesticated dog loves their owners than the dogs. Here we have made a lost of seven breeds of dogs which cn be great companion to us. Read them on:

 

  1. Airedale Terrier

Also known as Bingley Terrier and Waterside Terrier, the Airedale Terrier is believed to be originated in the valley (dale) of the River Aire, in the West Riding of Yorkshire, England.

It’s an intelligent and tough dog and normally gets along well with other dogs and children. In the earlier days, they are used as hunting dogs but today it makes for a great pet that is playful, intelligent, and proactive to its owner and his family. The most common colour they have as being tan with the black or grizzle saddle. These dogs have a double coat, hard coat, wiry, and a life span of 10-13 years, It is an intelligent, tough dog, and are friendly with other pets it grows up with and mostly gets along well with other dogs and children. 

  1. Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever

 Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers belongs small Golden Retrievers family . This dog is quite intelligent, outgoing, and loving, but they are not for everyone. More than many breeds, Tollers like to stay busy and they are a mental and physical commitment. If yiu get one of it, you need to give utmost care to it.

 Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever is bright, affectionate, and are always eager to please others. This little with the big name is the smallest AKC retriever, with a height of only 18 or 19 inches at the shoulder. They have a coat of stunning crimson, available from golden red to a dark coppery colour, with white markings. This breed of dogs is agile and strong; They are mostly medium in size, bone, and coat length. They have gt almond-shaped eyes which looks very beautiful.  These dogs are cheerful athletes who require playing place for their endless vigor: lie hunting, hiking, camping, and, of course, swimming which it absolutely loves . They are intelligent, good looing and affectionate companions, but its recommended that you get this breed only when you have enough time to spend with it.

  1. Samoyed

  Samoyed is a  lively, friendly dog, and is loves company of people and children, and it requires a yard to play in or a brisk daily walk.

It  is a medium-sized brown dog in size and has got spaniel’s floppy ears and a deep liver-brown coat. It’s a good companion during hunting and helps their owners to locate the prey. They have a coat medium in length which is a bit curly. Sometimes the fringe colour of the coat is a lighter red color. It’s a robust but agile dog and is medium sized. They can be trained easily and not much effort is needed because this breed of dog is quite intelligent and grasps things easily. They are amazing swimmers and are fast learners of things they are thought.

4  Boykin Special

It’s is a medium-sized breed of dog, and helps in hunting wild turkeys and ducks in the Wateree River Swamp of South Carolina, in the United States. It is named as the  state dog of South Carolina, where it was discovered and further trained  by hunters.

 Boykin Spanial is basically a hunting companion for human beings, specially while hunting turkeys and ducks, these dogs are quite helpful to find the locations of ducks and turkeys. Boykin Spanial is a friendly, eager, merry, trainable and  lovable breed who loves company of their owners. It got a rich brown coat, which makes it look gorgous.  Boykins are medium-sized spaniels, bigger and has rangier than Cockers but more squeezed than Springers. The breed’s trademark is a beautiful solid-brown coat. The colour of this breed ranges from a rich liver to a succulent chocolate. They have got large, feathery ears which hangs down the chin which makes them quite attractive and distinct. They are native South Carolinan dogs from where it spread to other parts of the world mostly by merchants and explorers.

  1. Standard Schnauzer

 Standard Schnauzer are smart, free spirited  and fearless breed of dogs. Its life span is around 13 to i5 years.

 Standard Schnauzer originated from Germany and is a high-spirited farm dogs which used to protect cattle from any kind of dangers and predators.  They are a reliable Schnauzer family of breeds. It has got a sporty look which makes the more gorgeous and good looking. . A medium-size Standard Schnauzer weighs between 35 and 45 pounds. It has got a healthy, square-built frame; and an extended head furnished with arched eyebrows and stubbly whiskers, framing eyes gleaming with good intelligence makes it quite good looking and useful dog. They are sociable companions, watchdogs, and are good with kids and protective his adapted family.

  1. Neapolitan Mastiff

 The Neapolitan Mastiff is large and powerful dog, which weighs nearly 50–70 kg (110–150 lb) and has a height of 60–75 cm. It’s length of the body is about 15% larger than the height. The skin is copious and loose, mainly on the head where it hangs in heavy wrinkles.

 Neapoltain Mastiff is a gigantic breed of dogs. Bu its looks it may look ferocious but looks can be sometime devicing. Neapolitan Mastiffs love spending time with their owners, and they are very loving with both kids and their adult owners. Start giving it training from a very young age and it will be well-mannered in the house. Its main characteristics include being stubborn, fearless, obedient, loving, protective, dominant, and trainable.

  1. American Staffordshire Terrier

 The American Staffordshire Terrier is loving, loyal, and good with children, making it an exceptional family pet.

The American Staffordshire Terrier  is an bright, hard-working, and enduring, and  excellent guard dogs. Although they’re good-natured, they may be quite  protective of their families. But it’s not aggressive till provoked and it knows when and where it’s neded to be aggressive. . American Staffordshire Terriers are suspicious of people they don’t know and may bark at them.
