Chengiz starring a Bengali superstar is going to be the first Bengali movie that will be released in Pan India. Seeing the success of South Indian movies across India, Jeet with his movie Chengiz, a crime action drama movie is joining the bandwagon with the hope of getting the same success. The trailer got released recently and it looked like a movie with some high-action set pieces and seetimaar dialogue baazi. Set in Kolkata, it is a gangster movie directed by Rajesh Ganguly and will be released on the 21st of April on the occasion of Eid and
its success will pave the way for other Pan-Indian movies apart from South Indian movies.
- Hari Hara Veera Mallu
Hari Hara Veera Mallu stars Telegu powerstar Hari Hara Veera Mallu is making his Pan India debut with this movie, a period drama set during the era of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the movie also stars Bobby Deol who is playing the role of Aurangzeb along with Nargis Fakhri and Nidhi Aggarwal. Based on a real-life person Veera, it is part fictional and part historical heist movie where he tries to steal the famous diamond, Kohinoor. After several delays, the producers of the movie are planning to release it on 30 March 2023, but that also seems impossible because it’s almost the end of March and not even a trailer of the movie is dropped so the release of the movie may be postponed again.
- Suriya 42
The famous Tamil superstar Suriya is famous across India because of the huge success of movies such as Ghajini, Soorarai Pottru, and Jai Bhim is making his debut in a Pan India movie which is titled Suriya 42 because it’s Suriya’s 42nd movie. It is a period-action drama movie that will release probably during the end of 2023. The movie is directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by Gnanavel Raja, the movie features Disha Patani and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles. The first poster of the movie dropped recently where Suriya’s look is of a fierce warrior and made with a budget of 175 crores and made in 2D and 3D. It will release by year-end and in ten languages which is going to be a record in itself.
Shaakuntalam is based on the famous ancient Indian writer Kalidasa’s Abhijnanasakuntalam, which is considered one of the best literary works ever. Famous Telugu actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is playing the titular character of Shakuntala who falls in love with King Dushyant but due to a curse he forgets her and in the forest, in an ashram, she gives birth to their son Bharata which is one of India’s names Bharat supposedly came. Dev Mohan is playing Dushyant and the movie is directed by Gunashekhar and will release on 14 April 2023 in various languages including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
