Information about Seven Breeds of Dogs Whether They Can Be Good Pets or Not

For thousands of years, people kept Dogs as pets. Almost all civilizations have signs that they adore dogs and were loved. In ancient Egypt they are so revered that they have a painting of humans with heads of dogs, in fact, some of their Gods are Dog-faced. Pharaoh was so fond of dogs that when they died, along with him, the mummies of Pharaoh’s favorite dog were also mummified so that they can accompany their owner in the afterlife world. Regardless of their background as working dogs, they adapted themselves to the modern world accordingly. They also behave well with other pets, apart from birds who they will instinctively hunt.

Today’s Lab is as good-natured and hardworking as their ancestors, along with being a family dog, many of them work as retrievers for hunters, and assist them, they work mostly as police dogs along with working as search and rescue dogs, among other canine jobs.

Bernese mountain dog is huge, physically strong, and was bred for doing hard work, along with being powerful, it’s also amazingly beautiful and has a sweet, affectionate nature. Berners are usually docile but they enjoy roaming outside and going to someplace the owner, whom they live to please. This breed of dog is a large, strong worker whose size is above 27 inches at the shoulder. It has a thick, silky, and abstemiously long coat with colours like jet black, clear white, and rust. The distinctive markings on the coat and face are breed hallmarks and, combined with the intelligent gleam in the dark eyes, add to its royal-like nobility.

4.Alaskan Malamute Alaskan Malamute 

The Alaskan Malamute is a large-sized breed of dog that was initially bred for its strength and fortitude to tow heavy freight like sled dogs and hounds. It is akin to other arctic breeds like the husky, the spitz, Canadian Eskimo Dog, the Greenland Dog, and the Samoyed. and the Siberian Husky. Malamutes can be great pets for families which are very active and loves going out and is adventurous this breed is not suitable for every family. 5.Bulldog Bulldog 

A Bulldog is generous but courageous, friendly yet very dignified, the Bulldog has got thick-set, low-slung, well-muscled tough whose ‘sour mug’ face is the universal symbol of courage and obstinacy. These submissive, loyal breeds adapt well to towns or countries. and can leave anywhere. Its main features look wise are that it has loose skin of the head, crumpled brow, pushed-in nose, small ears, undershot jaw with hanging cheeks on both sides, and with unique systematic gait. It’s a very famous dog but very people keep them as a pet because of various reasons and they can sometimes be very aggressive also.

6.Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Cavalier King Charles Spaniel 

It’s one of the largest in size toy dog largest of toy dogs, Cavaliers are very athletic like sporting breeds, and enjoy hiking, running on the beach, and dog sports like agility, flyball, and rally. Some have even worked hunting dogs. They are good family friends and therapy dogs which helps in reducing stress when you juggle it. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel’s dog breed kept the sporty nature of their spaniel ancestors. If they’re not sitting on a lap or getting a belly rub, nothing makes them merrier than to flush a bird and then attempt to retrieve get it.

7.Golden retriever Golden retriever 

The Golden Retriever is one of the most popular dog breeds in the world because of their loos and Hollywood movies have also played an important role in making them famous. Their friendly, tolerant attitude and loyal make them great family pets, and their intelligence and agility make them very good working dogs. Golden Retrievers are quite impressive in retrieving games for hunters, tracking, sniffing out contraband for law enforcement, and also as therapy and service dogs. They’re also natural athletes and many of them take part in dog sports like agility and competitive obedience.
