When we hear the name dog, the first thing that comes into our minds is loyalty. When a dog loves you wholeheartedly, that love is unparalleled and we have many many incidents when a dog gives up its life for its owner. The famous Hachiko movie which is based on a real dog is one of the best examples of how much a dog loves his owner. The story is about a dog named Hikichi who waited 9 years outside a metro station in Tokyo, Japan where he regularly used to go and wait for his owner who comes from the office at a particular time as it used to give companionship to his owner till they reach their home. One day the owner dies because of a heart attack while coming back from the office and Hachiko waited at the station for whole his life. Keeping a dog in your home is just not about keeping a pet but it’s more about having a new family member.   1. Yakutian Laika

Yakutian Laikas were bred to do things like herding, pulling sleds, and hunting. This breed of dog is not new and developed in ancient times for natives of Yakutia as essential companions and from Yakiuta it got its name. It’s a hardworking and versatile dog and is perfect for taking part in dog sports such as agility, coursing ability, herding, or sledding. The Redbone Coonhound is a native to America and belongs to the breed of hunting dog. During the earlier times, these dogs were utilized to hunt raccoon, deer, bear, boar, cougar, etc. It originated in the Southern states of the US. By nature, it’s even-tempered, warm, playful, and affectionate at home with its family but outside it’s like a tiger when quite wary of unknown faces and other animals. Earlier hunting was useful for such nature but today many may find it irritating. So, it’s important to train it early, and swimming for long periods is a typical part of coonhound life. The crisply coated Scottish Deerhound, ‘Royal Dog of Scotland,’ is a splendidly large-sized dog of the hound family. In fact, it’s the tallest of all dog breeds, and it was developed to help in hunting the giant wild red deer. You need to look at it from a little distance to wholeheartedly appreciate the majesty of this beast. Scottish Deerhounds are, however, much bigger and more substantial than Greyhounds, a male can stand 32 inches at the shoulder and weigh around 50 kilograms. Its crunchy coat is available in various colours; a dark blue-gray coat is preferred by most breeders and dog lovers.

 These beautiful breed of dogs are full of energy and can get bored quite easily if not getting anything to do.
