S*x and the City

S*x and the City is an American Rom-Com drama and it’s availble on H*tstar for Indian viewers. At first it was created by Darren Star for HBO. It is an adaptation of a book of same title written by Candace Bushnell’s newspaper column. It is ome of the most famous shows worldwide and India is no exception as it has a huge fan following here also.  Till now it had 94 episodes broadcast over six seasonsand it aired for the first time in 6 June, 1998 andn aired till February 22, 2004. The series benefited from contributions from a variety of producers, screenwriters, and directors, most remarkably Michael Patrick King. The series is based in  New York City, and tells the stories four  midaged  woman. In spite of their dissimilar personalities and continuously changing  S*x lives, the women are best friends who stands together alaeyas no matter what the situation is.  

Euphoria

Euphoria is a Israeli miniseries by Ron Leshem and Daphna Levin, that inspired the American teen drama television series Euphoria, created by Sam Levinson d and mainly written for HBO. It tells the story of Rue Bennett (Zendaya), a teenager and a recovering drug addict who is trying to find her place in the society.  The series follows a cluster of high school kids as they deal with isuues like with identity, suffering, drugs abuse, self-harm, family, friends, love, and S*x. Euphoria is a hit show  across the globe, and is easily one of the boldest and sensual shows on Disney+ H*tstar.

Out of Love

Starring Rasika Duggal and Purab Kohli in the main leads, Out Of Love is an Indian adaptation of the BBC One television drama series Doctor Foster. Out of Love is a thriller drama and the story is revolved around a couple (Purab Kohli and Rasika Duggal) who are getting out of their marriage. The character of Rasika Duggal finds out that her husband is having an extra-marital affair and when she starts the investigation, more dark secrets of her husband come out. The series had brilliant performances by both Purab Kohli and Rasika Duggal.

The Empire

Famous directors Nikkhil Advani and Mitakshara Kumar produced the historical web series based on the Alex Rutherford novel series Empire of the Moghul for Disney+ H*tstar. It featured Kunal Kapoor of Rang De Basanti fame as Emperor Babur and Dino Morea as his arch-rival. It got a lot of criticism for glorifying invaders and even acting-wise wise except from Dino and veteran actress Shabana Azmi, none of the other actors were able to impress audiences and critics. But it was applauded for o for the graphics, settings, costumes, and action scenes while a few did find the CGI up to that mark as well as criticism for several scenes with inadequate VFX.

Criminal Justice

Criminal Justice is a Hindi-language crime thriller legal drama web series from India that is available on H*tstar Specials. It is based on the 2008 British television series of the same name. Tigmanshu Dhulia and Vishal Furia co-directed the film, which was scripted by Shridhar Raghavan. Pankaj Tripathi, Vikrant Massey, Jackie Shroff, Anupriya Goenka, and Mita Vashisht play the main characters as the story follows them on an agonizing journey through the criminal court system. Criminal Justice was broadcast on H*tstar on April 5, 2019. It received positive reviews from critics, who praised Tripathi, Massey, and Shroff for their performances as the film’s three main protagonists. The show’s creators announced the second season of Criminal Justice: Behind Closed Doors in February 2020, and it premiered on Disney+ H*tstar on December 24, 2020.
